Moor Hampton Barn

This large-scale barn conversion in Moor Hampton involved a full roof replacement, integrating modern energy-efficient materials with the character of the original structure.

The existing roof was carefully stripped, with key timbers inspected and repaired as needed. We laid new breathable felt, installed treated battens, and blended in a mix of reclaimed and new clay tiles to preserve the barn’s rural aesthetic. Velux rooflights were added to improve natural light inside the living space, while remaining in keeping with the building’s original look.
